Unit 2 LO4 assessment

 1. one element of a wireframe that will need to be included is buttons t be able to press the right answer. His is important to be included in the wireframe as it will allow Laura to see what will be the most cohesive position so that the children understand. Another element that’s important to include is graphics of planets to be places around the screen. This is important as its informative and links into the astronomy theme. A 3rd element that should be included is a space for the title of the page. This will be useful as it’ll allow the children to track their progress in the game .

2. he could use a 3 panel story board. This would be useful because it allows Semion a better insight of the design ideas, and it also allows for the project to become collaborative as everyone can better visualise how the sequence will unfold and everyone is able to put forward their input. 

3. Storyboards are suitable not only because they allow everyone involved to better visualise the project their working on, providing a more comfortable and understanding work environment where everyone has a clear idea of what is being worked on, it also gives a clear idea of what shots are needed. As well as this it gives you more time to edit the footage which will be useful in such a small timeframe, and it helps with organisation in the day leading to a more streamlined process. Script planning also provides this as it gives the team an advantage when it comes to panning the day. With a script already there, the team is able to understand how much work they have left to do, and cuts down on wasted time. 

4. This is my design for concept art for the main avatar of the game. It is appropriate as its an astronaut in an alien costume to “bend in” and takes the player on a trip around the solar system. The character is able to do this because of his magic want, which gives the player a costume to blend I with all the other aliens. The avatar will be bright green with lots of sparkles around, to make him appealing to children. He has glasses and buck teeth to appear smart for the children and he bounces rom planet to planet on his long legs. At the very end he reveals that he is in fact an astronaut, causing suspense and surprise in the people who play as him. If the player loses the game, the aliens will capture the astronaut when he reveals himself but if the player wins the astronaut flicks his wand and blows the aliens away (victory!)

 Set design - the creation of theatrical, as well as film or television scenery. ... Scenic designers design sets and scenery that aim to support the overall artistic goals of the production. The set designer must coordinate and integrate the scenery with the other elements of the production: costumes, lights, sounds, actors, staging needs, and special effects. The effect of all of these elements should be an integrated whole.

What went into the set design of how I met your mother – the living room was designed to reflect the personality of the characters, messy and confusing but lovable. There is constant cluster In the living room, with warm reds being featured frequently to create a sense of familiarity and security.

 Page mock up - In the development of digital products, whether web pages or applications, it is commonplace to prepare a mock-up, which is a visual, graphic, and static representation of the design. It does not go as far as the final detail, which would be a prototype, but it does have the look & feel and the features of the product.

Prototype – a prototype is a test mock up of a product/design By creating a prototype, you can actually hold a version of your proposed product and determine what aspects do its job and which ones need refining. What is a wireframe? : A wireframe is a visual representation of a specific page’s content, and oftentimes functionality. The drawings usually consist of boxes, or frames, to convey the interface's layout in terms of space allocation and prioritization of images, copy, buttons, etc. Wireframes are used by designers and/or developers to build out the basic structure of their web service. The sole focus of wireframing is to determine what goes where. Wireframing can and should be a collaborative effort

 evaluation - It would be suitable for an app because it has a clear and readable user interface. There are clear areas where the user will be able to click on links and activities. Is a wireframe for an app for children, and the wireframe is suitable for them because for the use of different kinds of shapes and fairly large boxes.
